Lost Place Beelitz by FanMart

Beautiful picture! The grimy bottle front and center looks as if it has been in this spot for decades, perhaps left by a workman in a long forgotten past. The brightly lit half-moon window suggests a world totally removed from this secret place within. There is an overall stillness enhanced by the solidity of the pillar, the heavy woods, and the iron pipes. I appreciate the bare bones of the interior roof structure. This reminds the viewer of the skeletal structure of the building.

The only suggestion I might make would be to move the bottle slightly to the right so that it is not quite so central, thereby adding a bit more artistry to the setting. As it is, it so dominates the picture that examining the rest is more difficult. The eye is not gently led around the composition.

Great use of HDR toning to bring out the hidden spaces while maintaining appropriate definition. Good job!

Many thanks for your words and your rating. :)

I think you're right that the bottle should not be so central in the picture. Next time I think of your words.
